User biography

Having sold my house 20 years ago to go and live and work with Christians and subsequently unlovingly being constructively dismissed, I had to examine and rethink why we were treated unlovingly? why we were not equipped to deal biblically with the issues? and likewise the local church to which we belonged were impotent in identifying and resolving the issues.
I have studied intensively the scriptures alongside societal values, and come to the conclusion that the traditional church's message and mission has become distorted and erronious in being concerned with the conversion of individuals rather than the transformation of relationships, which Jesus calls his disciples to and further commands them to make such disciples of all nations. I have prepared training material to address this distortion and envisioned it to be used to equip 'saints for works of service' and towards a true transformation of society. the material is participatary, progressive and purposeful. I am looking for an opportunity to work with others towards fulfilling this vision.

‘When some one comes to church and hears only one person speaking, and all the listeners are silent...who can or will regard or confess the same to be a spiritual congregation?’ (Ambrosius Spitelmaier, an Anabaptist, under interrogation in 1527.)
