User biography

I am married to Elaine and have two ridiculously gorgeous girls, aged 10 and 5.5.

I have recently, begun an MTh with Spurgeon's College, London. I am also a freelance web-designer, which funds my MTh (at least, that's the idea!).

I am particularly interested in anabaptism (a marginalised expression of Christian faith that arose around the time of the Lutheran reformation) and what it means to be a community of people comitted to the teachings of Jesus in a post-Christendom world.

I am the contact for the Northampton Anabaptist Study Group and would love to hear from anyone in the area who is interested in coming along.

The "themes" of my life currently appear to be peace/non-violence and Jubilee. I suspect this is a result of trying to live like a 16th century anabaptist in a 21st century urban housing estate in the middle of England!

‘When some one comes to church and hears only one person speaking, and all the listeners are silent...who can or will regard or confess the same to be a spiritual congregation?’ (Ambrosius Spitelmaier, an Anabaptist, under interrogation in 1527.)
